Robert joined Parfitt Cresswell in June 2024 having worked for a North Hampshire based law firm since 2016.
Originally from Berkshire, Robert completed his legal studies at Bournemouth University and the College of Law in London.
Following the completion of his studies, Robert was employed by a Bournemouth based Solicitors assisting in both the Private Client and Conveyancing departments as a Legal Assistant. He was subsequently promoted to a conveyancing role and became responsible for his own clients and caseload.
Robert undertakes all aspects of residential property work including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, lease extensions, first registrations and other ancillary matters (Deeds of Easement etc).
Outside of work, Robert is married and he and his wife are expecting their first child later this year. In his spare time, Robert enjoys going for walks with their three miniature daschunds, playing golf (albeit his handicap is his golf), going to the theatre and socialising with friends.
Robert prides himself on providing his clients with a high level of service and giving them clear, jargon free advice. He also appreciates that the moving process is stressful and does all that he can to alleviate that by ensuring that clients and their Estate Agents are given regular updates.
My wife Jess and I recently moved house and engaged Robert for the conveyancing work. The process started in January and
prior to the house going on the market I spoke to Robert, and he initiated ID verification and gave quotes on a certain price house. This proved to be a good decision as within 4 days of the house going on the market on the 30th January 2025 we had accepted an offer and found and agreed a purchase price on a new home. Robert started the conveyancing process immediately and we were kept informed as he requested searches and raised queries. He had received the searches by mid-March (much quicker than we had expected). We then went on holiday in early April with confidence that an exchange would happen (whilst we were on the other side of the world) and we could move in May once we were home. The house move happened on the 15th May as this was following out month's holiday and our buyer's holiday. We found the whole process with Robert to be extremely smooth and stress-free.Robert was responsive but proactive in keeping us informed. His knowledge and service was first class. His paralegal, Abbie, was also great in requesting information and assisting Robert. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Robert and Parfitt Cresswell. Many thanks for making the whole process smooth and enjoyable!
Robert always made time for me whenever I had any questions/queries. He is very personable and knowledgeable and explained the
various aspects of the conveyancing process well.
