Katie McClean

Katie is an Associate Chartered Legal Executive with over eight years’ experience working in litigation and contentious matters.  She qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2023 and has developed a broad range of experience acting for individuals, business and organisations in a variety of disputes.

Katie focuses primarily on contentious probate, commercial litigation and contractual disputes. She has particular experience dealing with disputes arising from the administration of estates, including disputes between executors and beneficiaries, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, together with disputes concerning the ownership of property and interests in land.

She also advises on shareholder disputes, including unfair prejudice petitions under the Companies Act 2006, professional negligence claims, and property disputes, including claims brought under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (TOLATA).

Katie provides clear, pragmatic advice tailored to her clients' objectives, always seeking to resolve disputes efficiently and cost effectively where possible. Where court proceedings are required, she takes a strategic and proactive approach to protecting her clients' interests and achieving the best possible outcome.
