Bringing people together was at the heart of Long Walk Live, and what a wonderful weekend it was.
The event brought together music, community spirit, familiar faces and new friends to celebrate everything that makes Windsor such a special place. Throughout the two days, we saw families, friends, local businesses and community organisations come together to enjoy great music, reconnect with one another, create lasting memories and share in a truly special community occasion.
As one volunteer put it, "People needed this.” We couldn't agree more.
Parfitt Cresswell are honoured to support this inaugural event and proud to play our part in a Festival that reflected the warm, generous and strong community spirit for which Windsor is known. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand to meet Miles the Elephant from the Thames Hospice Trunks Across the Thames initiative, contribute to our Community Tree, sit for a caricature, take part in our activities or simply stop and say hello. It was an absolute pleasure to spend time with you, share conversations and connect with you all.
We are incredibly grateful for the brilliant welcome we received throughout the weekend and for the privilege to be involved in such a ground-breaking event. Our heartfelt congratulations and thanks go to all the organisers and volunteers whose dedication and hard work made Long Walk Live such a success.
