The Good Divorce Week 2022 - Ending the Family Court Crisis
Our team of Family lawyers are delighted to support Resolution’s ‘The Good Divorce Week’ taking place between 28th November – 2nd
We know that the breakdown of a relationship can be challenging and sometimes it is difficult to know which way to turn and who to turn to for support.
You’ll no doubt have questions regarding how to ‘officially’ end your relationship, how the property and finances will be divided, and if children are involved, what will happen to them.
Where do you look for help?
Well the first place to start is with a legal professional who specialises in Family Law. A highly trained and experienced professional will be able to answer your questions and provide you with the support and information you need to make the decisions that are best for you and your family.
Unfortunately, for many this is not always affordable which means many are left without the expert legal advice they need. Sadly, this can result in people staying in difficult or even worse, abusive relationships, whilst others can end up becoming embroiled in expensive and lengthy court proceedings.
The purpose of ‘The Good Divorce Week’ is to highlight the need for accessible legal advice to be provided at an early stage to empower separating couples to make the right decisions for them and their families.
If that advice is given, then hopefully the parties involved can resolve matters amicably and avoid the need to become involved in lengthy court proceedings. The courts are overwhelmed with work, and this means it can take a long time to resolve matters through the court system and be very expensive.
As a show of support our Family Lawyers and Solicitors will be offering FREE (pre-booked) face to face appointments at several of our offices throughout the week:
- Monday 28 November: Sutton - Family Lawyer, Karen West
- Tuesday 29 November: Edenbridge - Family Lawyer, Tina Hylands
- Wednesday 30 November: Haywards Heath - Family Lawyer, Eve Geere
- Thursday 1 December: Windsor - Family Lawyer, Zanariah Webster
These complimentary, no-obligation 45-minute consultations provide you with the opportunity to meet with a legal expert and are for anyone about to embark on the journey of separation/divorce.
