Countdown to the launch of our second book begins

We are excited and proud to announce that we will be launching our second book – The Later Living Guide – at Waterstones in Windsor on 26th April from 6pm.

Join us for drinks, canapés and a series of insightful and lively presentations from the book’s author, Teresa J. Payne, and her team of expert contributors.

It’s strange how many of us spend so much time planning a career, planning weddings and parties, and planning holidays — but when it comes to later living and what we want our 60s, 70s, 80s and beyond to look like, we pull the covers over our heads and try to pretend it’s not happening.

We tuck it away in the backs of our minds, vowing to cross that bridge when we come to it. The problem is, that bridge is going to get shakier and shakier as we get older, and this problem will become more and more difficult to deal with.

We’ve written this book to put a stop to the apathy and encourage more people to plan now so they can own their tomorrow and age happy.

What will the presentations cover?

  • Whatever your age, why plan now for your legal, financial and social future? Why do we need wills and LPAs?
  • Pensions: Can we really afford to over-look them?
  • Down-sizing: It makes good financial sense but where to start?
  • The rise of a new type of care home: Challenging dated perceptions

Who will you hear from?

  • Teresa J. Payne and Sarah Reynolds, Parfitt Cresswell Solicitors
  • David Allan and Steve Wilson, 2hWealthcare LLP
  • Felicity Bunt, Senior Services Management
  • Debbie Harris, Chosen with Care

The wonderful team at Molton Brown in Windsor will also be joining us to pamper guests with a range of their luxurious and exotic products.

We hope to see you there!
